What a Performance!

Congratulations to Year 6 on an incredible Final Assembly Performance.  They played beautifully, acted with passion and danced their hearts out.  Bravo!  I couldn't be prouder.  Well done!  Here are some photos of today's monumental efforts.

Last week of borrowing in the Learning HUB and last chance for Scholastic Book orders for 2018

Last chance to order books through Scholastic is Monday 26 November and last chance to borrow before the end of term is week 7. 
Library books will need to be returned the following week, at the latest by Thursday 6 December 2018.

What an incredible day we had at iFly Down Under Penrith.

First we arrived and watched a video of all the ways that humans fly without a plane.  We then had a lesson on the history of human flight, and looked at how surface area and wind resistance affect flight.  We had a demonstration of these properties with different sized and shaped balls, with water and with a person.  Then it was time to suit up and take flight.

Not only is flying fun to do, but heaps of fun to watch each other do too.
